Stuffed Bell Peppers Family-Style

Ingredients
- 6 bell peppers, halved
- 1 lb ground beef/turkey
- 1 1/2 cups cooked rice
- 1 cup marinara
- 1 cup shredded cheese
- 1 tsp salt, 1/2 tsp pepper
Directions
- Preheat oven to 375°F.
- Slice peppers in half; remove seeds. Place in a baking dish.
- Brown meat; drain excess fat.
- Stir in rice + marinara; season.
- Spoon filling into peppers; top with cheese.
- Add a splash of water to the pan and cover with foil.
- Bake for 25 minutes, then uncover and bake for 10 more minutes to melt the cheese.
- Rest 5 minutes; serve.
