Japanese Matcha Shortbread Cookies

Ingredients
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 2 cups flour
- 1 tbsp matcha powder
- Pinch salt
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Cream butter + powdered sugar.
- Mix flour, matcha, and salt; add to butter mixture.
- Form a dough log; chill 15 minutes.
- Slice into rounds.
- Bake 10–12 minutes.
- Cool fully (they firm up as they cool).
